Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the Cliniboard application (“the App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License

Subject to these Terms, Wesam Abdallah (“Developer”) grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. Not Medical Advice

THE APP IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE.

The information displayed in Cliniboard — including lab results, vital signs, trends, and conditions — is drawn directly from your Apple Health records and is presented for personal informational purposes only. It is not intended to:

• Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition
• Substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Replace consultations with licensed healthcare providers

Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or seen in this App.

3. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Health data may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate depending on your connected healthcare providers and Apple Health sync status.
• Reference ranges displayed in the App are general population norms and may not reflect the appropriate range for your individual clinical situation.
• You use the App and rely on any information it displays entirely at your own risk.

4. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Developer, and his affiliates, licensors, and service providers, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the App or any information displayed within it
• Your violation of these Terms
• Any health-related decision you make based on information displayed in the App
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including Apple HealthKit terms or your healthcare provider’s terms

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The Developer does not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
• The health data displayed will be accurate, complete, or current
• Any errors in the App will be corrected

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the App
• Any reliance on information displayed in the App
• Any health decision made based on App content

IN JURISDICTIONS THAT DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, THE DEVELOPER’S LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

7. Sharing Your Data

The App lets you export your dashboard as a .clini file and send it to others. You are solely responsible for what you share, with whom, and how it is protected:

• A shared file still contains the full lab and clinical data; the optional obfuscation hides your name, date of birth, and age but does not remove the health information.
• Unless you turn on encryption, the file is not encrypted and anyone who receives it can open and forward it. An encrypted share is only as protected as the passphrase you choose or the recipient’s device.
• Only share data you have the right to share, and only with people you trust.

8. Apple HealthKit

Your use of Apple Health data within the App is also governed by Apple’s HealthKit guidelines. Cliniboard does not share HealthKit data with third parties, does not use it for advertising, and does not sell it. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and all content created by the Developer, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without prior written consent from the Developer.

10. Termination

The Developer may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App immediately ceases.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through the App’s release notes. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
