Cliniboard is a personal health dashboard that runs entirely on your device. We have no servers and never receive your data.
Data
With your permission, Cliniboard reads health data from Apple Health (read-only) to display your dashboard. Any processing happens locally on your device, under your control, and is stored only there unless you choose to share it. There is no account, no cloud, and no tracking. We do not collect, sell, or use your data for advertising — and we never receive it. Your data leaves your device only if you choose to share it (see Sharing below).
Sharing
Cliniboard can export your dashboard as a .clini file that you send to others
(AirDrop, Messages, Mail, or Files). Sharing happens only when you explicitly choose it. A few
things to know:
- You choose how each file is protected. You can send it as-is (not encrypted), lock it with a passphrase, or encrypt it for a specific recipient's device. A file that is not encrypted can be opened and forwarded by anyone who receives it. The optional obfuscation hides your name, date of birth, and age, but it does not remove the health information. An encrypted file is only as protected as the passphrase you choose or the recipient's device, and once someone can open a file they can re-share what they see. Only share a file with people you trust, and only if you have the right to share that person's data.
- Camera. If you choose to encrypt a file for a specific recipient, the app uses your device camera only to scan that recipient's share code. No photos or video are taken or stored.
- Device-to-device. Sharing happens through the apps you pick. We have no servers and never receive the file; once you send it, where it goes is under your control, not ours.
Your control
You can manage Cliniboard’s access at any time in the iOS Health app (Settings → Privacy & Security → Health). Deleting the app removes the data it stored on your device.
